Equity Advance utilises a deposit program that developers we work with, accept as payment for your deposit instead of cash. Once your no interest deposit is advanced to the developer (along with the balance of funds you acquire from the bank) then the property is owned by you!
The deposit amount provided is then held for up to 3 years interest free (up to 5 years for first home buyers). At the end of this term (or before if there has been significant market growth) your new property is re-valued and your mortgage is refinanced for the new valuation.
The excess of your refinanced mortgage is then used to repay the amount of your deposit.

Once we have identified the properties that fit your borrowing capacity, we will connect with you to review your circumstances and discuss the details of the EQUITY ADVANCE program .
3. DECIDE ON YOUR NEW HOME
Now for the exciting part, we go shopping for your new home!
4. YOUR NEW HOME GETS VALUED
Once you have selected your new home, we get it valued so we know how much deposit Equity Advance needs to provide for you.
5. PURCHASE CONTRACTS
Now that we know all the details of your new home including the cost and deposit breakdown, exchange of contracts is arranged for you with the Vendor or Developer. Under the EQUITY ADVANCE program, your non-cash deposit is transferred to you and held by the custodian in trust pending settlement.
6. FINANCE
Now you know the balance of your new home cost and you have your contracts, it’s time to organise the finance. Don’t worry, we help you with this part too.
7. SETTLE AND MOVE IN
Once your finance is approved, settlement is arranged for you. Once completed, the deposit is paid for you by the Custodian to the Vendor or Developer along with your balance and you are handed the keys to your new home.
